Biografia
Ernesto Preatoni inizia la sua carriera nel 1967 in qualità di consulente finanziario venendo in breve tempo messo a capo della propria divisione di venditori.
Nel 1971 diventa Presidente dell’Associazione Consulenti Finanziari Italiani, dove si occupa di indirizzare il risparmio privato verso investimenti mirati, quali prodotti obbligazionari, operazioni sulla valuta e sviluppi immobiliari, attività in cui si specializza, divenendo negli anni 70-80 uno degli imprenditori maggiormente conosciuti nel settore.
Nel 1984, con l’arrivo dei fondi di investimento in Italia e il Boom della Borsa Italiana, Preatoni indirizza la propria attività anche nel settore delle banche e realizza la sua prima importante operazione finanziaria, partecipando al takeover della Bi-Invest, primo caso di affermazione del mercato e della Borsa su un grande gruppo finanziario.
Altre operazioni di successo furono effettuate sulle banche quotate al Mercato Ristretto, quali Banca del Friuli e soprattutto la scalata di Banca Popolare di Lecco, iniziata nei primi mesi del 1987 e completata nell’estate del 1988.
L’attività nel mondo bancario proseguì con la scalata del Credito Bergamasco e con la costituzione, nel 1988, di Parin SIM, società di intermediazione mobiliare che arriva ad amministrare oltre 750 miliardi di lire e attraverso la quale organizza la scalata alla Popolare di Crema.
Nel 1989 nasce Domina Hotel e Comproprietà Alberghiere, società attiva nel settore della comproprietà alberghiera. Inizialmente, Domina poteva contare su otto alberghi in Italia in località di prestigio come Courmayeur, Cortina, Positano, Portofino e Porto Rotondo.
Nel 1991 inizia l’ideazione e la realizzazione del più grande resort del Medio Oriente, il Domina Coral Bay di Sharm El Sheikh, nella penisola del Sinai, che ha incoraggiato l’esplosione turistica di quella località e che ha valso a Preatoni in Italia il soprannome “l’inventore di Sharm”.
Dal 2017 il resort è gestito da suo figlio Eugenio Preatoni, che ha introdotto il concept innovativo del “Dclub”.
Nel 1994 Preatoni inizia ad investire nei Baltici, ravvisandone a ragione le grandi possibilità di sviluppo sia finanziario che immobiliare.
A un importante e redditizio investimento nella seconda banca dei Baltici, la Uhispank, seguono una serie di investimenti immobiliari in Lettonia e Lituania, con il Domina Shopping e il Kristiine Shopping Center.
Queste attività immobiliari vengono realizzate attraverso ProKapital, una società immobiliare leader nei Paesi baltici che ha avviato l’attività nell’area 27 anni fa.
Il portafoglio di progetti di sviluppo edilizio completati da ProKapital a Riga, Vilnius e Tallinn comprende centri commerciali, alberghi e complessi residenziali strategicamente ubicati per una superficie complessiva di oltre 320.000 metri quadri. Ora i progetti in corso nei Paesi Baltici totalizzano un’ulteriore superficie edificabile di oltre 400.000 metri quadri. ProKapital ha progettato e costruito alberghi di classe business e superior in Italia e Germania.
Preatoni da anni investe anche in Russia dove, oltre all’edilizia residenziale, ha già realizzato due hotel 5 stelle, uno a San Pietroburgo e uno a Novosibirsk, capitale della Siberia.
Inoltre, sono in fase di costruzione altre cinque iniziative a Tyumen, Yekaterinburg, Kaliningrad, Lipetsk e Tomsk.
Nel 2014 Ernesto Preatoni introduce un’idea nuova nel mercato immobiliare di Dubai e nel 2018 porta a termine la costruzione della Preatoni Tower a Jumeirah Lake Towers.
Lo sviluppo di questa eccellente idea è affidato a suo figlio Edoardo Preatoni.
Nel 2018 assieme a suo figlio Roberto Preatoni costituisce la Preatoni Nuda Proprietà, che divenne rapidamente leader del settore in Italia.
Di seguito spiegati i motivi per cui Preatoni dal Marzo 2022 ha deciso di non voler più apparire:
Nel novembre 2012 ha ideato il manifesto anti euro “Una Scelta Diversa”, una fonte di ispirazione e di dibattito per avviare una discussione sugli effetti dell’euro nell’economia italiana.
La battaglia sull’euro non ha portato alcun risultato concreto. Preatoni si è reso conto che, nonostante le evidenze negative che l’euro ha avuto sull’economia italiana, la battaglia si è rilevata “donchisciottetesca”.
Quando all’establishment conviene una certa direzione i giornali allineati sposano questa direzione condizionando pesantemente l’opinione pubblica.
I partiti a loro volta, attraverso i sondaggi di opinione, vengono pesantemente condizionati dall’opinione pubblica.
Questo è il motivo per cui Preatoni ha deciso, in occasione dell’invasione della Russia in Ucraina, di non più apparire. Si è infatti reso conto che la sua posizione moderata sarebbe apparsa erroneamente filo Putin.
Biography:
Ernesto Preatoni began his career in 1967 as a financial consultant, and within a short period of time became head of his own division.

Further successful operations were carried out on banks listed on the Mercato Ristretto, including the Banca del Friuli and the takeover of Banca Popolare di Lecco, which began in the first months of 1987 and were completed in the summer of 1988.
His activities in the banking sector continued with the takeover of the Credito Bergamasco and with the establishment in 1988 of Parin SIM, a securities firm that came to manage more than 750 billion lire and through which Preatoni organized the takeover of the Popolare di Crema.
Domina Hotel and Hotel Co-ownership was born in 1989, a company active in the hotel co-ownership sector. Initially, Domina could count on eight hotels in Italy in prestigious locations such as Courmayeur, Cortina, Positano, Portofino, and Porto Rotondo.
The conception and construction of the largest resort in the Middle East began in 1991, the Domina Coral Bay in Sharm El Sheik, located in the Sinai peninsula. This establishment encouraged the tourist expansion into that region and earned Preatoni the nickname “The Inventor of Sharm”. Since 2017 the resort has been managed by his son Eugenio Preatoni who has introduced the innovative concept of the “Dclub”.
In 1994 Preatoni began to invest in the Baltics, rightly recognising the great possibilities of both financial and real estate development. A major and profitable investment in the second largest bank in the Baltics, Uhispank, is followed by a series of real estate investments in Latvia and Lithuania, with Domina Shopping and Kristiine Shopping Center.
These real estate activities were carried out through ProKapital, a leading real estate company in the Baltic countries that started operations in the area 27 years ago. The portfolio of development projects completed by ProKapital in Riga, Vilnius, and Tallinn includes strategically located shopping centers, hotels and residential complexes with a total area of over 320,000 square meters. Now the projects underway in the Baltic countries total an additional building area of over 400,000 square meters. In 2014 Ernesto Preatoni introduced a new idea to the Dubai real estate market with the construction of Preatoni Tower in Jumeirah Lake Towers, completed in 2018. The development of this idea is entrusted to his son Edoardo Preatoni.
In 2018, together with his son Roberto Preatoni, he founded Preatoni Nuda Proprietà, which quickly became a leader in the sector in Italy.
The reasons why Preatoni decided to no longer appear from March 2022 are explained below:

This is the reason why Preatoni decided, on the occasion of the invasion of Russia in Ukraine, not to appear again. In fact, he realized that his moderate position would have mistakenly appeared pro-Putin.
